Founder’s message and pledge on World Environment Day

 

We are currently in the midst of a massive global crisis, that of plastic polluting the earth. 

 

We use and discard half a trillion plastic bags each year;  Over a million plastic bottles are sold every minute. In just one year 51 trillion micro-plastic particles have contaminated our oceans . That is 500 times more than the number of stars in our galaxy!

 

I urge you to take this pledge with me so that we can make a real difference to the future of our planet.

 

 

 

On the occasion of World Environment Day, I pledge to take complete responsibility to reduce my consumption of plastic to less than half. 

 

I pledge to use natural and eco-friendly products over plastic. 

 

I pledge that I will do everything in my capacity to spread awareness and mobilize participation towards this campaign for reducing plastic waste by less than half.
