Envisioned by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Sri Sri University was established in 2009 under the aegis of Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir Trust – the educational arm of the Art of Living – to revive the prominence of India as the centre of world class education, and is duly recognized by UGC & AICTE.

The University takes a novel approach to holistic education that brings together the best of the Western innovation with the ancient values and wisdom of the East. Sri Sri University offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in diverse areas of study including Management, Engineering & Technology, Science, Commerce, Animation, Psychology & Contemplation, Architecture & Interior Design, Osteopathy, Ayurveda, Yoga, Sanskrit & Indic Studies, and Performing Arts. The faculty members are drawn from renowned institutions including IITs and IIMs.
