First of its kind Moot Court Workshop on 21st May, 2022 for the Law aspirants of Sri Sri Academy, Kolkata
As a part of the Summer Workshop 2022, the Career Guidance Cell of Sri Sri Academy, Kolkata organised a Moot Court workshop in collaboration with O P Jindal Law School.
The hearing was on Human Rights violation for which a case study was shared with the participants well in advance. 4 2-member teams of petitioners and 4 teams of respondents from classes 10 and 12 prepared memorials after extensive research and participated in this mock court proceedings which was judged by Ms. Virangana Dhillon and Ms. Apoorvi Jha, Lecturer and Assistant Deans of O P Jindal Law School.
About 60 law aspirants from classes 9, 10 and 12 came in as observers and posed relevant questions to both the petitioners as well as the respondents.
The judges were impressed by the quality of presentation and shared important feedback for further improvement.
